Marcus Ehning

There has been many great memories for Marcus Ehning during his career. “One highlight was the team gold I won with Germany at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Then of course my World Cup final wins with Anka in 2003, with Sandro Boy in 2006 and with Noltes Küchengirl and Plot Blue in 2010,” Marcus smiles. “And also the team gold medal with Germany at the 2010 World Championships in Kentucky!”. Johannes Ehning

"I started riding mini ponies at the age of 4, but didn't decide to go professional before I had finished my eductaion. Today I have about 20 competition horses at our yard. My current top horses are Salvador, Cayenne, Appearance and Oscar du Rozel" says the youngest of our Kingsland sponsored Ehning brothers, Johannes, in this interview. Learn more »

Angelica Augustsson

"Mic Mac is my favourite horse! We kind of have a history now, and we have travelled this journey together. My first 1.50 class was also Mic Mac’s first. We had our debut at 1.55 level together as well as the World Cup debut in Gothenburg in 2010. The Europeans in Madrid was her first championship and my first senior championship, and she is also my first choise for the upcoming Olympics in London" Angelica Augustsson explains when talking about her favourite horse, her careere and big goal for 2012. Beat Mändli

“I had no choice but to start riding, as I grew up at a breeding stable run by my father and my older brother. I was not so hot on going to the stables, but I got a little pony and we won the first class we started together. That made me keep up the riding. It was not because I liked working in the stable,” Beat says with a little smile when telling about how he came around the sport. Beat has a big passion for the sport and his horses. He loves riding and schooling young horses, but is also a man with high goals for himself. Learn more »

Judy Ann Melchior

“I think you have to be a bit stubborn to reach the top. You have to be a stayer, and keep going no matter what. When things are against you, it’s important to keep believing and keep on working hard. That’s my best advice,” says Judy-Ann. “And wear Kingsland,” Judy Ann Melchior smiles when asked what her advice for riders who want to get to the level that she is at.

Cecilie Høgsaas Eide

Meet the Norwegian show jumper, Cecilie Høgsaas Eide and hear her tell about her horse career, being a mother to three and her connection to Kingsland.
“I started to ride at a local stable when I was about seven or eight. My first lesson was together with my sister Lin [founder of Kingsland]; we were both lunged on a horse and fell off. So we both quit, but it didn’t last for long,” Cecilie smiles when asked when she first startet with horse riding. “When I was ten I got my first pony which I shared with my sister and after a while my own.
