Kingsland signs show jumper Angelica Augustsson (SWE)
Kingsland AS, the manufacturer and designer of Kingsland equestrian apparel and horse gear, just recently signed a sponsor contract with the quickly rising Swedish show jumping star Angelica Augustsson.
Angelica Augustsson has a remarkable past and is the “girl next door” who succeeded. In her first season as a senior rider and as an outsider she won the World Cup leg in Scandinavium, Gothenburg, Sweden in 2011.
“Angelica Augustsson is not only a great rider, but she has a personality and work ethics which we in Kingsland admire. Behind this humble and sweet rider there is a young woman with a strong determination and will to succeed. She loves challenges and never gives up and these are qualities we want our brand to reflect onto our riders.” says Lin Kingsrød.
Her riding career started at the age of eight. She soon knew that riding was a sport she wanted to continue exploring and she had a fantastic pony career. The continued support from her family over the years, her undisputed talent and knowledge of horses and lots of hard work, lead her to Germany where she now lives. Dietmar Gugler is her tainer as well as her employer.
